These inserts are manufacturer rated at 15 oz. absorbency.

One-size inserts can be bulky on a newborn baby (under 12 lbs or so) so you may want to purchase separate small microfiber inserts for the first few months.

What about overnights?
We recommend using two microfiber inserts or a microfiber insert and a hemp insert when diapering at night.

These inserts are included free with the purchase of bumGenius One Size pocket diapers. You can order extras to use as doublers or in other pocket diapers.
