Did you know that 51 billion (yes, BILLION) plastic bottles go into landfills every year, just in the United States?  Scientists estimate those plastic bottles will take 700 years to decompose.  So get enough reusable bottles for the whole family, then gift them to family and friends.  And when you do encounter a plastic bottle, make sure it gets recycled, then check out the things that can be made from that recycled plastic.  They'll blow you away!
