Stork Wearhouse note: I personally found this to be wonderful for nursing an older toddler. Depending on your shape and feeding position, you may find this to be the perfect solution for nursing your infant. Or if you prefer a larger nursing pillow when your child is tiny, but they continue nursing into the toddler years, this is a must-have to make both your lives easier! I first discovered the Keirkai Feeding Pillow while traveling and LOVED it in the hotel and on the airplane. Now we've used it a lot at home, too, both nursing in the cradle position, and lying down nursing in bed.
The KeirKai Story - invented in a mom's desperate moment
It struck me on a hot summer night as I was feeding my one-month-old daughter, Keira, who was born with severe eczema. As we sat together nursing and sweating, I noticed that our skin to skin contact was only worsening her discomfort. I imagined that if I only had a small pillow that I could attach to my arm, and switch easily to the other arm, it might provide a sort of comfort lining between us. The very next day, I summoned my mom’s sewing skills, gathered feedback from several other moms, and soon the first KeirKai pillow was born. My daughter was much more comfortable nursing, I was more relaxed, and my husband also loved using it for bottle feeding. We tossed it into the diaper bag every time we went anywhere with the kids, and then threw it in the washer and dryer whenever it needed cleaning. It made things so much easier for our family. it then became clear that I needed to share this useful product with anyone looking to ease the logistical challenges of being a young family on the go. - Shani, Mom, Inventor |
