Inserts or prefolds for absorption are sold separately (see recommended options below).

For general daytime use, we recommend microfiber inserts. For night wetting, we recommend using hemp prefolds inside, or for a heavy-wetting older child, your best bet is to combine a cotton prefold and a hemp insert.

Once the pocket is stuffed, your toddler can pull the training pants up and down by himself with the elastic waistband. The sides of the waistband can be opened with snaps for ease in messy clean ups and to make stuffing them easier.

These pocket training pants are designed to be "poofy" so there is plenty of room in the pocket for lots of absorbent inserts needed by a heavy wetting older child.
